How do I find my Goodreads profile URL?
  1. Go to goodreads.com and sign in.
  2. Click your profile picture (top-right) → Profile.
  3. Copy the URL — looks like .../user/show/12345-your-name.
  4. Paste it above. Profile must be public (default).

How to Export from Goodreads

  1. Go to My Books on Goodreads
  2. Click Import/Export in the left sidebar
  3. Click Export Library
  4. Download the goodreads_library_export.csv file

What Gets Imported

  • Book details: Title, Author, ISBN, Pages
  • Your reading status: To Read, Reading, Read
  • Your ratings: 1-5 star ratings
  • Dates: When added and when finished
  • Shelves: Your custom Goodreads shelves

Troubleshooting

  • File too large? Make sure it's under 10MB
  • Wrong format? Ensure it's a CSV file
  • Empty file? Re-export from Goodreads
  • Encoding issues? Try re-exporting with UTF-8
